The Bell (2007-2015), a recent project by Hiwa K, was presented at the 56th Venice Biennale, in the main exhibition of Arsenale pavilion. The 56th International Art Exhibition titled All The World’s Futures, curated by Okwui Enwezor, is open to the public 9th May - 22nd November, 2015 at the Giardini and the Arsenale venues.

EVERYDAYNESS, the exhibition curated by BÉATRICE JOSSE and ANETA SZYŁAK is dedicated to the minuscule gestures, repetitive chores, volatile forms, intimate moments and disappearing words. What is nearness and what is being together?
In July 2014, the New Museum will present “Here and Elsewhere,” a major exhibition of contemporary art from and about the Arab world.
In the past ten years, the work of artists and cultural spaces in cities such as Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Dubai, Doha, Marrakesh, Ramallah, and Sharjah, among others, have established critical points of global access. However, despite a growing international interest in contemporary art from across North Africa and the Middle East, there have been few presentations of art from these regions in New York. “Here and Elsewhere” is the first museum-wide exhibition in New York to bring together more than forty artists from over twelve countries in the Arab world, many of whom live and work internationally.

The Field is to the Sky, Only Backwards, an exhibition curated by ISCP alum Aneta Szylak, Artistic Director of Wyspa Institute of Art and Alternativa International Visual Arts Festival, Gdansk. The exhibiton includes works by Anders Bojen and Kristoffer Ørum, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Hiwa K, Katarzyna Krakowiak, MML Studio (Michał Madracki, Maciej Madracki and Gilles Lepore) and Hito Steyerl and questions art as a practice of knowledge.
Is our economic system doomed? The 2013, the Impakt Festival investigates capitalism, that in spite of much criticism to this day seems to be the only economic system to function but – at the same time – it seems a dead end. How do we solve this dilemma? Impakt Festival 2013 takes place from 30 October – 3 November on different locations throughout Utrecht.
